Crusher / Machinery Operator

A position is available for a crusher / machinery operator. Located in the Hurunui Area. This is a full-time, fixed term position but may lead to permanent.

The crusher is a new 260SR Powerscreen closed circuit, mobile crushing plant.

You must have experience with all aspects of machinery - diggers, loaders etc and be mechanically minded. Must have a tracks and wheels endorsement. A 'B' grade certificate would be an advantage although we can assist with this if need be.

Excellent communication and people skills is a must with a good team spirit.

Labour skills and being able to work un-supervised will be essential to the position.

We require someone with excellent health and safety knowledge and respect.

Roading Foreman / Supervisor

this position has now been filled.

A full-time position is available for a foreman / supervisor for a roading crew of 4 (total), located in the Rotherham and Waiau area (Amuri/Hurunui) of North Canterbury. This is a full-time, fixed term position but may lead to permanent.

The job requires working in different roading areas of the Amuri/Hurunui area.
 

You must have experience with all aspects of machinery - digger, trucks etc. Especially skilled when working on roads and construction.

 

Excellent communication and people skills is a must with a good team spirit and leadership skills being essential.

 

Labour skills and being mechanically minded are also essential to the position.

 

We require someone with excellent Health and safety knowledge and respect.

DIGGER OPERATOR 

This position has now been filled.

​

A full-time position is available to operate a 14ton digger, located in the Rotherham and Waiau area (Amuri/Hurunui) of North Canterbury. This is a full-time, fixed term position but may lead to permanent. Must be able to start in the New Year.

The job mainly requires working in different roading areas of the Amuri/Hurunui area but will be some agricultural work also. You must have experience with all aspects of machinery. Previous roading and contracting experience is a bonus. Must have labour skills and be mechanically minded and be able to work un-supervised. Being able to work in a team is essential. Working with other machinery maybe required from time to time.

Health and safety knowledge and respect is also essential.

All applicable licences to operating a digger are required.
